Close encounters of a wonderful kind!

I have had the most glorious weekend! Every little bit has brought a smile to my face! Carole my husband's mum came to visit with her husband Richard and as always brought a ray of sunshine with her, as well as Tom (James' younger brother) and his beautiful girlfriend Lucy. Food was shared, stories were told , faux pas' were made and some very fine wine consumed (mostly by me!) We also came across some beautiful samoids outside the pub, one aptly named Cleopatra, what beauties to photograph! Today however James and I decided to jump into our car and explore as we sometimes do with no clear agenda to mind. The only prompts were to stop if I saw a particularly beautiful field or church! I love days like that, I love just exploring and JP is always a obliging partner when we go off on one of our little rambles! We also had a wonderful chance encounter with friends Jamie and Charlie and their very beautiful little brood, who of course I could not resist photographing even though we met under unfortunate circumstances....their car had broken down! I also had the pleasure of meeting their gorgeous new spaniel puppy Rolo, who was just so adorable I could have eaten him. Don't you just love that wonderful puppy smell, you know what I mean!!! Here are my memories....
